BEIA at ARES event
BEIA, one of FLEXI-cross project partners had the honor of presenting the paper, “Entity Recognition in Border Security,” at the International Conference on Availability, Reliability, and Security (ARES) .
The research explored how Named Entity Recognition (NER) models can transform border security by automating the analysis of key documents such as passports, visas, and travel records. These systems not only streamline operations but also enhance security, addressing challenges like data scarcity and ethical considerations.
